One of the first things I do when planning my next trip to Disneyland is check out the new attractions. Luckily, the Disneyland resort has just unveiled a new parade for us to enjoy! Disneyland’s ‘Magic Happens’ parade will make its debut on February 28th. This means all new songs, floats and characters will be celebrated in classic Disneyland style.

Disneyland ‘Magic Happens’ Parade Details

What does this mean for visitors planning their 2020 Disneyland vacation? As it happens, the new ‘Magic Happens’ parade is a great daytime show for us to enjoy!

When we visited Disneyland in 2019 with our two youngest twin boys and their brother, staying to see the nighttime fireworks and shows wasn’t always feasible. Like any princes, they needed their sleep. More often than not we opted for early arrival at the gates than a later visit in the evening.

The daytime parade during our last visit was a great chance to slow down and take a break while enjoying the show. That being said, it was also a great opportunity for the kids to experience an exciting show they could be awake for!

The new ‘Magic Happens’ parade will feature a whole host of our favorite Disney characters we’ve been wishing to see more of!

What’s There to See?

Some truly fantastical, shimmering new parade floats! (If the concept art is anything to go by!)

Hence, some of our new-era Disney favorites will be singing and dancing upon some really extravagant floats. If previous iterations of the daytime parade are anything to go by, this is one show you’re not going to want to miss. The newly released concept art gives us a stunning sneak-peak at some of the floats. Characters from ‘Frozen 2’, ‘Coco’, ‘Moana’, ‘Sleeping Beauty’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Princess and the Frog’ and even ‘The Sword in the Stone’ will be on display!

Sounds magically unforgettable, right? But that’s not all, they’re even promising a spectacular grand finale in true ‘happily ever after’ form. Check out these pieces of concept art to get an idea of what you can expect from the upcoming ‘Magic Happens’ parade!
